Jesus Christ...Superstar?

Over time, man has come up with some interesting ideas about Jesus. Modern day depictions show a solemn, Scripture-quoting man walking around with a halo over His head. Yet ‘Jesus’ is also a familiar name when it comes to being used as a curse word.

He has been the subject of Broadway musicals, hit movies from Hollywood, and intriguing conspiracy novels. Some revere Him; others see Him as someone to be made fun of. Mention the name ‘Jesus’ and you’re bound to get a reaction one way or the other!

Many recognize Him as having been a good person who had a major impact in the world. At Christmas and Easter, those who are otherwise non-religious will often still go to church. For many, this has become a fun cultural experience; for others, it is a celebration of the historical events of Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection.
