Our CR!Celebrate Recovery at Northwest Church is the BEST place to be on Thursday night!Located at the corner of West and Barstow in Fresno, California, you will find a positive, supportive environment for you and your whole family. We started the program in 2005 and currently average 175 attendees every Thursday. Under the leadership of Pastor Patrick Vance, together with a dedicated team of volunteers, we have seen people come to better understand God and His genuine love for them, discover their need for a true ‘Higher Power’ – Jesus Christ, and be transformed by the workings of the Holy Spirit in their lives. PURPOSE STATEMENTWe believe that Jesus intends for each of His followers to intentionally participate in sanctification, and that Celebrate Recovery provides an excellent way for us to actively engage in the process.We exist to see people set free from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups, and experience real and lasting change through the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ in their lives.We seek to provide an honest, safe, grace-filled, joyful, and supportive environment for people to come – just as they are – to find practical help and encouragement based on the eternal truths of God’s Word.Continue with: New to CR? |
