Large Group SettingWe're in this together...The Large Group setting is one of the most unique aspects of the CR program. This hour-long meeting is a time when everyone comes together to sing Christian worship songs and then hear either a recovery message or testimony. What IS a Recovery Message?Recovery messages include relevant topics such as ‘Denial’, ‘Hope’, and ‘Amends’. Throughout the course of a year, CRs across the country go through 25 of these lessons. Once the last message has been taught, we start over again at lesson number 1! This way, you may join a CR group at ANY time and not have to worry about missing anything – as long as you keep coming back! The Large Group time is never ‘closed’. All you have to do to attend the Large Group is simply SHOW UP! What IS a Testimony?Seeing real people experience real change in their lives gives real hope! A testimony is when someone in recovery has 23 minutes to share how the program has impacted their life. Testimony nights contain some of the most powerful moments in a person’s recovery – whether you’re the one sharing your story or you're listening to someone else's story.
